Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is a component of our blood and consists of growth factors that promote the formation of new collagen and support other growth and healing processes. The procedure has been used successfully for several decades for orthopaedic treatments and was discovered not so long ago for aesthetic medicine.
Procedure
Your own anti-ageing booster and growth stimulator, PRP (platelet rich plasma), is extracted from your blood. After a small blood sample is taken, it is separated in a centrifuge. We use the tried-and-tested double syringe system from Arthrex, which has been further developed for use in aesthetics in cooperation with Croma.
Immediately after your plasma has been separated, it is injected into the skin using a small cannula, a microneedle for mesotherapy or microneedling, depending on the area of application. There it unfolds its full effect.
